7 square miles, with a unique blend of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. We are seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Seasonal Marketing Assistant to contribute creative ideas to help us achieve our marketing goals.

As a marketing assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing Coordinator on various tasks, such as creating flyers for events and programs, promoting significant events, and capturing photos and videos.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a marketing assistant, you will work closely with our Marketing Coordinator on various tasks, such as creating flyers for events and programs, promoting significant events, and capturing photos and videos.

The following are essential duties of the Seasonal Marketing Assistant position :

• Create social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.
• Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels
• Attend events or programs to take photos / videos
• Create Reels / TikTok's for recreation programs and events
• Create content for website and social media platforms, including posts, social media graphics, and email newsletters.
• Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions
• Monitor all social media platforms for current news, trends, ideas, and content feedback
• Attend team meetings and help brainstorm for event planning
• Help create and manage email campaigns

Education and Experience Requirements

Candidates should be enrolled in a university or college, working towards a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Candidates should possess knowledge of basic marketing principles, strategies and techniques. Candidates should be proficient in Social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Basic proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) and basic photography, video editing and graphic design skills are required.

Hours and Compensation

The compensation for this position is $20 per hour. The candidate will work from June to August. This position is onsite, and office hours are from 9 : 00 a.

m. to 5 : 00 p.m., but the candidate may be required to work some weekends for special events.
