- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels; process purchase orders as required; track orders and investigate problems.
- Add new parts to inventory database.
- Record purchases, maintain database, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports (if needed).
- Verify parts are invoiced to customers.
- Check invoices for correct freight charges billed to customers.
- Receive and post packing slips; deliver order slips to counterpersons.
- Set up and maintain current price levels on all vendors.
- Process and/or approve invoices for payment.
- Process and document returns on parts and cores, following established procedures.
- Input and process vendor rebates.
- Print vendor invoices.
- Maintain various spreadsheets for maximum record keeping.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in an office environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office software
- A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, and have excellent attention to detail.
