Job Summary: The Receiving Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Operations Manager and oversees all inbound ground, LTL and FTL deliveries coming into the warehouse. They direct all necessary receiving paperwork to the proper channels of the company and supervise the put away both physically in warehouse bin locations and systematically in the inventory warehouse system. Supervisory Responsibilities: • Yes Duties/Responsibilities: • Stays in communication with buyers regarding Purchase Orders to ensure delivery of products. • Assists in the coordination with carrier freight lines to ensure delivery of products. • Supervises the offloading and breakdown of freight on the warehouse dock. • Supervises the inventory count of received freight. • Supervises the put away of inventory in the assigned racking bins and locations after products are received. • Coordinates with the shipping and inventory departments with products for outbound processes once received. • Supervises and coaches the receiving team and the put aways team. • Monitors the training and development of the Receiving team in areas of receiving procedures and PIT certifications. • Required Skills/Abilities: • MS Office suite familiarity • Windows OS familiarity • Education and Experience: • High School or Equivalent required. • Warehouse receiving in WMS experience required. • PIT Certifications preferred. • Experience in Supervisory and leadership roles preferred. • Warehouse equipment safety experience preferred.
