Tom Lange Company is Hiring an Account Coordinator Near St. Louis, MO

Lange Logistics is seeking an ambitious and driven professional for an Account Coordinator position in its Midwest Region office in St. Louis, MO. The Account Coordinator is responsible for assisting Account Managers in sourcing, dispatching, scheduling, and securing transportation and freight, as well as maintaining and building relationships with shippers, customers, and transportation providers. This position offers the opportunity for career advancement.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Keep Account Managers up to date on locations of carriers and available freight;

· Help to build and maintain a network of carriers and customers;

· Verify quantity, temperatures, schedules and deliveries for loads;

· Track loads and schedule appointments for loading and delivery;

· Process, approve, and complete invoice packets to be sent to customers;

· Handle any potential billing or payment inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and effectively;

· Assist on payables by performing the first step of a 2-step checks and balances system prior to approving payments; and

· Other duties as assigned by Account Managers and Vice President of Sales. Attributes/Qualifications:

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

· Motivated team player who also works well independently;

· Excellent communication and organization skills;

· Excellent customer service levels backed by timely follow up;

· General computer skills - proficiency with MS Office is necessary; and

· Prefer a college degree - but will consider years of experience as well.
