JOB TITLE: Scheduler III REQUISITION #: MD-1213-24-DISA CLEARANCE: Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance LOCATION: Fort Meade, MD REPORTS TO: SABG Program Manager FLSA STATUS: Regular Full-Time Exempt SUMMARY: SABG is hiring a Scheduler III to support DISA. This position will telework but requires geographical proximity to Ft. Meade, MD. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Develop and Maintain program schedules, integrated schedules, critical path reports, technical/variance reports, trigger date analysis reports, and what-if analysis reports.
Conduct reviews of program operations to determine compliance with schedule requirements.
Perform analyses to identify dependencies, project/program milestones, address technical milestones (Gate, Decision, Baseline Reviews, Acquisition Decision Memorandum approvals, release scheduling activities).
Research, identify, and recommend resources required for task execution and completion.
Assist the client in engaging program/project stakeholders in collecting relevant data for accurate scheduling to assist the client in product deliverable, contracting actions, funding decisions, etc.
SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of the team and assists with solving complex problems. Advanced level working knowledge, skills, and abilities using Microsoft Office. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The candidate must be able to work effectively in supporting the client’s needs in a telework environment. This requires a proactive approach and willingness to follow up with client. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 3-10 years of experience
BA/BS or MA/MS degree
COMPUTER SKILLS: Skills in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
Must be proficient in MS PROJECT
Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
