Together Credit Union is Hiring a Senior Commercial Loan Specialist Near St. Louis, MO

Job Summary

The senior commercial loan specialist's primary responsibilities are to ensure all loans are processed, closed, and documented following policies and procedures utilizing LaserPro software systems. This role will manage the loan documentation and closing pipeline and will mentor and train new loan documentation team members on the loan process from start to finish, as well as be a resource for the entire team. ** This is a Hyrbrid/St. Louis position **

Job Responsibilities

The intent of this job description is to provide a representation of the types of duties and level of responsibilities required of this position and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills. Maintains responsibility for initiating and driving the loan closing process, developing and maintaining relationships with third party vendors and internal/external partners, coordinating the activities, decisions, and communications amongst the team and third parties.
Coordinate and executes pre- and post-closing activities for a wide range of commercial loans.
Prepare loan documentation for new loans, loan renewals, and loan modifications with a variety of structures, collateral, rates, and terms utilizing LaserPro, ensuring quality, completeness, and accuracy.
Applies knowledge in commercial loan documentation, with proficiency in preparing various loans such as commercial and industrial (C&I), real estate, lines of credit, and construction.
Acts as a liaison with attorneys, third-party vendors and members, facilitates efforts, coordinates communications, prepares finalized loan packages and organizes official loan closings.
Serves as a source of information and assistance to the Business Services Team.
Collaborates with title companies and colleagues to facilitate timely loan closings.
Maintains responsibility for ensuring the audit of all commercial loan files are complete and compliant with Together Credit Union’s policies and state and federal regulations.
Answers inquiries from members, performs loan payment applications, researches, and resolves member issues utilizing keystone.

Required Qualifications

An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.

5 Years of similar or related experience
College degree preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA’s)

A representation of the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.

Knowledge of the multiple business entity types
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Familiar with commercial loan processing
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, effectively communicating with business members and internal partners.
Finastra/LAserPro knowledge

Work Environment

Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of this job’s functions.

Hybrid, remote and in-office setting; general office environment when in-office.
