Toddy is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Near Loveland, CO

Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is a hands-on position that performs basic and routine facilities maintenance, construction and repair tasks according to service, quality and safety standards. This position will assist with miscellaneous facility projects including painting, drywall, carpentry, installation of fixtures and moving furniture or materials, and some cleaning. Assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working and positive person with a "can do" attitude, who would like to contribute to the success of a growing company.
Key tasks include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Prioritizes daily work and engages in safe practices in building repair, sanitation, vehicle and power industrial equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Assist with efficient operations with approved third-party vendors, including but not limited to, janitorial, external contractors, vehicle, and facility maintenance.
  • Complete preventative maintenance for buildings including HVAC systems, electrical and energy management, plumbing, dock doors/dock plate systems, building components (roof, interior & exterior floors/walls, doors, paved surfaces).
  • Complies with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies (i.e. OSHA, etc.)
  • Assist with Audit preparations for buildings and grounds.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Must be:
  • Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Able to work in a disciplined manner and capable of following established procedures, practices and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Basic construction skills, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing required.
  • Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking.
  • Committed to workplace safety.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Proficient in written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to lift 30 lbs. and spend most days on your feet.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with challenging situations and tight deadlines.
  • Able to pass a background check.
Must have:
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); 2-3 years maintenance or construction experience.
  • Must possess a valid state Driver’s License and clean driving record.

Compensation:
  • Base salary range: $20.43-$21.61/ hour
  • Paid Time Off and holiday pay
Eligible after 60 days:
  • 75% employer paid medical insurance
  • 50% employer paid dental insurance
  • 100% employer paid life and AD&D insurance
  • 100% employer paid STD & LTD
  • $15 employer subsidy per pay check on supplemental insurance
Eligible after 12 months:
