WHAT DOES YOUR DAY AS AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER ENTAIL?

You will work Monday - Friday from 8 am - 5 pm.

As the Accounts Payable Manager, your role will involve performing crucial month-end closing tasks such as recording journal entries, calculating accruals, and reconciling general ledger accounts. You will also play a key part in training newly hired accounts payable team members on company policies and procedures.

Additionally, you will be analyzing and reporting financial information, investigating issues, and resolving invoice/payment discrepancies. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining a current and accurate vendor database, negotiating payment terms, executing payment runs, and assessing tax-related processes. You will also have the opportunity to participate in special projects directed by the residential accounting manager, contributing to process improvements and supporting the overall business growth.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance, OR equivalent experience
• 7 years of accounts payable experience, including 2 years directly managing staff
• Strong knowledge of allocations and segmented accounting
• Experience with improving and enforcing company budgets as well as financial policies and processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to review, analyze, and interpret financial information accurately
• Ability to deliver well-written reports and business correspondence and to present numerical data effectively
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
