The first 3 letters in workplace safety are Y-O-U! TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Manager- Strategic Supplier Category in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for leading, developing, and implementing strategic sourcing and procurement strategies end to end for a group of product categories; targeting quality, cost, and delivery to support business objectives and inspiring new sourcing solution possibilities. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Lead and develop sourcing, category, and procurement strategies spend for direct clusters including but not limited to cost reduction initiatives, on-time delivery and quality improvements, supplier performance, and supplier consolidation/rationalization that enable successful supply continuity for manufacturing and field operations.
Understand total spend, pricing structure, commercial terms, market influencers that impact materials or services, purchased finished products, and manufactured assemblies with a particular knowledge of market dynamics, cost drivers and supply chain.
Lead supplier management (SRM) activities for area of influence including current year savings goals and contribution to 3-year savings pipeline robust category value plans that allow optimal service levels and lowest possible TCO. (quality delivery and cost)
Estimates Risk in the supply chain and deploy risk minimizing actions and techniques.
Responsible for group category savings and successful implementation of Quarterly Business Reviews with key suppliers within reviewing current performance, aligning corrective actions, and developing collaborative initiatives
Responsible for Spend Data Analytics & Reporting, eSourcing, and contract management systems.
Partners with global strategic sourcing colleagues to leverage enterprise wide PVO enabling a TCO approach.
Measure and Manages supplier performance and adherence to contracts.
Consolidates and measures KPI's and variances such as forecasts, quality performance, supply plans and delivery performance.
Develops & implements supplier corrective action and recovery plans as required alongside Supplier Quality Engineering and Operations.
Leads team to conduct and assess RFQs/RFPs/RFIs, negotiations, supplier evaluations, and determine supplier selection.
Experience and knowledge managing a large matrix of sourcing and category initiatives at a global level, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and communicating complex matters to all levels of the business effectively.
Develops and drives opportunities to eliminate waste from the overall supply chain, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Develops activity-based plans that allow the supply base to support the achievement of the TKE sustainability goals.
Keep current with industry regulatory and compliance trends and policy changes.
Proactive, dynamic, self-driven, able to achieve results utilizing data and collaboration as key tools of influence.
Perform other assignments as requested by the management.
Comply with appropriate legislation & policies.
Perform Due Diligence as required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree required: Engineering is preferred, otherwise Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
Master's in business administration is a plus.
Certifications: Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or PMP desired.
Expert understanding of purchasing policies, procedures, practices, and the value and use of procure-to-pay (P2P) digital platforms.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Visio), SAP, Oracle and/or Ariba.
Deep understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement best practices, processes and strategies.
Advanced understanding of supply landscapes, manufacturing, and product lifecycles.
Comfortable with ambiguity and adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
Ability to work with ambiguous data and transform it into a clear story used for analysis and decision-making.
Effective negotiation experience with a TCO approach.
