Customer Service Associate (Tactical Uniform) The Customer Service Associate (CSA) with Tactical Uniform is an enhanced Loss Prevention (LP) position designed to provide TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores with a visible presence for customer engagement and deterrence of external theft.

The CSA (Tactical Uniform) is a Loss Prevention professional focused on assisting customers and reducing shrink. Customer Service Associate (Tactical Uniform) Responsibilities / Positioned at the front entrance of the store.

Engaging with customers (10-foot, 10 second rule). / Trained to respond to certain situations in the store. / Responding to merchandise protection pedestal alarm activations.

Constantly aware of their surroundings to detect external and internal theft alert signals. / Equipped with an LP radio, and possibly a store radio when working without the support of a Detective, and shoulder mic to communicate with any LP Detectives on duty at the store.

Possessing a Body Worn Camera to engage (record) as needed during certain situations. / Trained to act as a witness for shoplifter detainments by certified Detectives.
