Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Staff Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in month-end processes, bank reconciliations, general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, bank account reconciliations, and insurance.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
• Perform month-end close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
• Record and reconcile transactions in the general ledger
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments to vendors
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate records of insurance policies and premiums
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Provide support to other members of the finance team as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
