After school Supervisor
Duties:
Duties for an after-school supervisor typically include:
1. **Supervising Students**: Ensure the safety and well-being of students during after-school hours. This involves monitoring their activities, behavior, and interactions with others.
2. **Implementing Policies and Procedures**: Enforce school or program policies and procedures to maintain a structured environment. This may include rules regarding behavior, attendance, and use of facilities.
3. **Assisting with Homework and Activities**: Provide academic support by helping students with their homework or facilitating educational activities. This could involve tutoring in specific subjects or organizing enrichment programs.
4. **Organizing Recreational Activities**: Plan and coordinate recreational and social activities for students to participate in after school. These activities could include sports, arts and crafts, games, or clubs.
5. **Managing Facilities**: Ensure that the facility is clean, safe, and properly maintained. This may involve setting up rooms for activities, monitoring equipment usage, and reporting any maintenance issues.
6. **Communicating with Parents and Staff**: Maintain open communication with parents, teachers, and other staff members regarding student progress, behavior, and any concerns that arise. This may include attending meetings or conferences as needed.

Qualifications:

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
