The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is a technically savvy individual who understands computers, the internet, and other technologies and who can communicate in a clear efficient way, is responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company’s sales department goals.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Driving traffic for the sales department by setting appointments for prospective customers
- Making inbound and outbound calls- Updating customer information
- Following up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction
- Any other duties that may be assigned
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and/or college degree, or relative work experience, exceptional interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (Good verbal skills and a clear speaking voice). Must be comfortable with computers and technology systems. Must have the drive and desire to meet production goals and expectations. Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is preferred but not required.
