As the Transportation Performance Management Lead at TikTok, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the quality and performance of nationwide transportation operations. You will lead the Transportation Performance Management team, develop strategies for optimizing transportation efficiency, and drive continuous improvement efforts to maintain high standards of operational excellence.
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the Transportation Performance Management team, ensuring adherence to national transportation standards and driving a culture of performance excellence.
• Oversee quality control and performance across all transportation modalities, including but not limited to air, ocean, rail, and trucking, to meet operational objectives and customer service levels.
• Develop and implement strategies, initiatives, and best practices to optimize transportation efficiency, reduce costs, and improve performance metrics such as on-time delivery, transit times, and freight accuracy.
• Monitor and analyze transportation metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for process optimization within transportation operations.
• Ensure robust communication, collaboration, and alignment with national and regional teams, including logistics, operations, procurement, and customer service, to facilitate seamless transportation operations and address operational challenges.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Transportation Performance Management team, develop talent, and foster a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and accountability.
• Collaborate with technology teams to leverage Transportation Management Systems (TMS), analytics tools, and data-driven insights to drive decision-making, improve visibility, and enhance operational efficiency in transportation management.
• Develop and implement training programs, operational guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics teams to ensure compliance with transportation standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in transportation or logistics management with a focus on performance improvement, including 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, driving operational excellence, and implementing process improvements within transportation operations.
• Expertise in using Transportation Management Systems (TMS), analytics tools, and data analysis techniques to monitor, analyze, and optimize transportation performance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, decision-making abilities, and the ability to manage complex logistics scenarios in a growth environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong background in statistical analysis, performance metric development, and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Experience in developing training programs, operational guidelines, and SOPs for logistics teams to improve performance, compliance, and safety standards.
• Advanced skills in risk management, strategic planning, and change management within transportation contexts.

Travel Required: Occasional travel may be required based on operational needs.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125400 - $253080 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
