Ecommerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.
As a Risk Management Leader, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's reputation and overall health. You will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks. Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate risk management practices into daily operations
• Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting the organization's operations
• Communicate risk management strategies and findings to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders. Prepare and present regular reports, highlighting key risks, mitigation efforts, and progress.
• Lead and inspire a diverse team, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance, direction, and support to the team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field
• Proven experience in risk management roles. Leadership experience, demonstrating the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA, MSc)

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $139650 - $256500 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
