E-commerce's Governance and Experience is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality.
The Public Relations Program Manager identifies moments where we can highlight a partnership or positive merchant or creator story. The candidate will play a pivotal role in will play a critical role in shaping and maintaining positive relationships between our organization and government entities at domestic, regional, or national levels.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute strategic campaigns to enhance TikTok shop's visibility and reputation.
  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and press opportunities.
  • Create compelling press releases, pitches, and media materials to effectively communicate key messages.
  • Host events and identify key Public Relation moments; coordinate press events, conferences, and interviews to maximize media exposure and engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, communications, and other teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  • Measure and analyze campaign effectiveness using metrics such as media impressions, audience reach, and sentiment analysis to inform future strategies and initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft messages for various audiences and channels.
  • 5 years of experience in media relations, including pitching stories, securing press coverage, and building relationships with journalists.
  • Proficiency in managing Public Relations campaigns and projects, from strategy development to execution and evaluation.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $172900 - $304000 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.

Our time off and leave plans are: 10 paid holidays per year plus 17 days of Paid Personal Time Off (PPTO) (prorated upon hire and increased by tenure) and 10 paid sick days per year as well as 12 weeks of paid Parental leave and 8 weeks of paid Supplemental Disability.
