TIGHBOND2 is Hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer Near Westwood, MA

Where would you step in? 
As a valuable member of our Electrical team, you will work with our multidisciplinary teams across the northeast. You would sit in our Westwood, Massachusetts office. We offer a hybrid office/remote/field model, including flex-time summer Fridays.

Our Electrical Team 
Our electrical engineers design electrical systems for new construction and building renovations. A quickly growing team with highly skilled and capable engineers, we support a variety of project teams through the design, construction, and post-occupancy of various building types to ensure energy efficient building design and operation.

What will you be doing? 
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. Your expertise will contribute to the development, design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems, ensuring their compliance with industry standards and project requirements. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.

What do you need? 
You will need a BS degree in Electrical Engineering and a PE is preferred, along with ten or more years of experience. You should have experience with performing load calculations for electric services, generators and short circuit current, circuiting from distribution and branch power panels and the ability to complete panel schedules, mechanical equipment schedules and lighting fixture schedules. Familiarity with the National Electrical Code is expected.
