Sundog Solar is seeking a Solar Sales Manager to take the lead with residential and commercial sales and manage the sales team. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your network, skills and implement your ideas to bring Sundog Solar to the fullest potential!

The candidate for this position will excel at being a self-starter and creating/closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, developing a pipeline to manage that leads to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. This is an in-office management position leading a team of sales reps, helping them reach their goals and the company's goals. The Solar Sales Manager will be required to attend local sales events as well as manage some aspects of solar design for clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets
• Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
• Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
• Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with customers
• Manage the sales team
• Improve and implement advertising, sales and design techniques

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' quota carrying sales experience
• 2 years' Solar industry experience is preferred
• Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
• Experience and working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Office Suites
• Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to independently drive growth and production for the sales team
• Interest in residential and commercial solar, helping the customer see the big picture
• Competitive Spirit

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Compensation package:

• Bonus opportunities
• Commission pay
• Uncapped commission
