Searching for an ambitious, Medical Billing Specialist for solo Dr. Family Practice. If you're a motivated, independent Billing Specialist with strong technical skills and a knack for details, Thunderbird Family has an opportunity for you to consider. This position is a part-time position , located in Moon Valley, North Phoenix, Arizona.
Responsibilities:
- Full cycle billing processes
- Medicare/all insurance billing, ability to work with all the major insurance companies and Medicare plans
- claims follow up
- Prefer 2 years experience in electronic medical billing
- Expertise in AZ insurance companies and insurance claims
- Comprehensive knowledge of billing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing
- Medisoft or other healthcare medical software experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- Works effectively as a team member
-Duties include but not limited to: Entering insurance payments, billing patients, collections, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, entering new patients and charges, refill prescriptions...
Reliable transportation and day care A MUST!
Monday: 7:30-5:00 (lunch 11-12)
Wednesday: 7:30-3:00 (lunch 11-12)
Friday: 7:30-11:00
