Find your dream job with Thrive!Job DescriptionEnsure that underlying cost data regarding product profitability is accurate.Review sales quotes for accuracy and reasonableness and report improvement opportunities.Monitor material cost changes and work with purchasing and sales to mitigate impact on product profitability.Ensure that customer sales prices are updated quarterly for material cost changes.Provide accurate reports and analysis to the sales department as directed.Ensure accurate financial analysis to monitor business performance and to make informed decisions.Ensure that cost reduction activities are prioritized based upon data and projected ROI.Ensure that variances from plan and past performance are identified and explained.Make appropriate recommendations based upon interpretation of data and analysis.Provide accurate reports and analysis to operations as directed.Ensure that capital expenditures achieve anticipated ROI as projected on respective capital expenditure requests (CERs)Assist with month end close process as needed.Implement and maintain standards and processes that eliminate waste throughout the department.Apply and utilize “lean tools” to permanently implement improvements.Institutionalize 5-S in all aspects of the department.
