POSITION SUMMARY
A Guest Experience Associate – Bartender is someone who provides hospitable service while crafting specialty cocktails for our guests and creating an excellent experience from the moment the guests enter the building till the moment they leave. The Bartender may have elevated knowledge as a mixologist, sommelier, and will assist with growing the beverage program and assisting management in day-to-day-operations.
The Little Grand is a local market and bar opening this summer at the new Grandview Crossing development. This 22,000 sq. ft. hall features 10 restaurant stalls where chef partners create delicious offerings around an inviting indoor/outdoor bar (think “the North Market” or “Budd Dairy Hall”). The Little Grand is open to both the public, as well as residents of the community it is a part of.
REPORTS TO: Guest Experience Manager and Assistant Guest Experience Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Interacting with guests in a welcoming, personable, and professional manner.
Taking orders and preparing both alcoholic beverages and food items.
Present bills, accept payments, and operate the POS system.
Ability to remain calm while listening to guest concerns and complaints.
Restock and replenish inventory as the shift progresses.
Comply with all food and beverage regulations and procedures.
Being a rad co-worker, teammate, and leader, while remaining empowered to make decisions.
Assuring the guests 5 senses are satisfied: good smells, clean tables, tasty drinks, great music, and a clean, vibin’ atmosphere.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must be 21 years of age or over.
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule with daytime, and evening shifts.
Eagerness to learn and expand on beverage knowledge.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Effective time management skills to manage a busy work environment. The ability to schedule and organize multiple jobs is critical.
Ability to lift, stand, and reach for entirety of the scheduled shift.
Ability to handle cash and manage the register.

$10.00 per hour tips, full-time hours, bi-weekly pay
