Job Title : Senior Associate, Quality Assurance

Job Overview :

• Analyze warranty return parts and determine the starting point of failure.
• Perform in-depth function tests of components looking for abnormal functions and abnormal wear patterns.
• Ensure test equipment is set up properly before testing. Install components in test vehicle for real world situations.
• Document and report any discrepancies to the responsible engineer and supervisor.
• Code and document final analysis results in database / warranty system.
• Review warranty information and insure documentation provided with the parts is complete.
• Organized parts according to analysis results.
• Repack and prepare the inspected parts for shipping.

Responsibilities :

• The QEC test technician performs in-depth testing of warranty return parts to determine the starting point of failure.
• Analysis results will be key for improving quality in Mercedes-Benz cars.
• Test technician will analyze abnormalities in part performance and record results while collaborating with senior engineer and supervisor to determine the cause.

Qualifications :

Must have 1-3 years (total) of experience in the following :

• Automotive - Technical : Knowledge of automotive technical information systems and repair / diagnostics procedures
