This role will be responsible for analyzing company information, preparing, and updating budgets and projections, and providing ad-hoc reporting and projects to set the business up for success.

YOUR IMPACT

  • TIMELY & ACCURATE FINANCIALS: Serve as a backup for the Staff Accountant(s) and Sr. Accountant(s) to ensure journal entries, accounts and balance sheet are recorded timely and accurately.
  • INTERNAL CONTROLS: Performs periodic audits and maintains documentation for internal controls. Act as a backup for Accountants to ensure internal controls are reviewed and followed.
  • COMPENSATION CALCULATIONS: Partner with Payroll to ensure calculations are on time and accurate to ensure successful payout to employees. Serve as a back-up to the Staff Accounting in compensation calculations and review calculations on a weekly basis ensure accuracy.
  • FINANCIAL PLANNING & ANALYSIS: Execute the annual budgeting process by coordinating with management team to obtain annual commitments to support the annual budget, including providing training and education, if needed. Execute forecasting process by ensuring annual budget is in alignment with the company’s short-term and long-term goals. Package KPI information to key stakeholders that is easy to use and ensure data provided supports business decisions. Calculates inputs for budget and provides a hoc reporting and analysis on financial drivers.

YOUR SKILLS

  • KNOWLEDGE: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • SKILLS: Ability to troubleshoot and proactively find solutions. Computer savvy with a desire to hone in Microsoft Excel skills. Understanding of mathematical and financial information and how to translate into concise reporting.
  • ABILITIES: Must possess a high energy level and have excellent time management skills to ensure deadlines are hit. Strong problem solving & analytical skills with the ability to effectively plan and prioritize with an unwavering attention to detail. Ability to meet the requirements of felony/misdemeanor background check.
