This position is responsible for technical process development, improvement, and monitoring of system processes and quality. The engineer will be hands-on, physically producing production parts. They will support multiple existing products and be involved in production process development. Although the location of the position is in Rochester, NY, from time to time it may be required to undertake duties at other Thorlabs locations.
Pay Range: $75,000 to $90,000

Physical Activities:
Work may be active, could stand or sit for long durations and/or perform repetitious work at times. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Must be able to wear appropriate clothing and personal protective equipment such as but not limited to masks, glasses, gloves, and specialty garments. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and may be noisy at times.
