Job Title: Welding/Manufacturing Engineer | Reports to: Development Engineering Manager |
General Job Summary: This position will be responsible for developing manufacturing processes for key new customer programs. Focus will be on development of automated and manual welding processes along with additional support processes. This development will include process selection, equipment selection, fixture/tooling development, work center layout, and implementation of the processes into production. | |

Supervisory Responsibilities: | |

Education | Experience |
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in engineering | 5-7 years related experience or training |
or equivalent combination of education and experience. | Experience in welding process development |
Experience in use of robotics. | |
Computer Skills: | |
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Solidworks. Experience with robotic programming. | |

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the ability to read blueprints, knowledge of business practices/protocols, and be able to maintain confidential information. Must wear safety glasses with side shields and steel toe/composite shoes while on the production floor. Gloves may be required if handling parts. | |
