Associate Product Marketing Manager
Primary Location: Eagan, MN, or Dallas, TX, US
We are looking for an enthusiastic roll-up-your sleeves contributor for a six-month contract term to join the Corporates Outbound Product Marketing team to drive execution and management of product marketing and product launch activities for the Tax and Trade solution portfolio. You will manage and own a wide range of essential product marketing activities across the portfolio that are necessary to increase product awareness and usage, enable sales channels, launch products, and drive retention. Ideally, you will have solid experience with Accounting, Finance, or other ERP software or strong desire to learn.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Product Marketing Manager, you will:
- Participate as part of a team launching new solutions and releases to market.
- Coordinate project plans and manage project due dates and timelines to help ensure the team meets deliverables against plan.
- Work closely with internal and external teams including outbound product marketing, inbound product marketing, product management, sales, campaign planning, and our content center of excellence to develop and execute product marketing programs and initiatives.
- Learn product portfolio and positioning, buyer and user personas, competitive environment, and market opportunities.
- Develop positioning and market-facing messaging that promotes our tax technology platform and related offerings in the Corporates market.
- Create customer communications and demand generation campaigns.
- Develop quality marketing materials such as sell sheets, web pages, videos, battlecards, pitch decks, and case studies for assigned Tax and Trade portfolio solutions.
- Coordinate with other Thomson Reuters divisions and teams on select ad hoc projects.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Product Marketing Manager if your background includes:
- 3-5 years B2B and B2C product marketing experience, candidates without 3-5 years experience will be considered
- Bachelors (or equivalent) required
- Familiarity with, Finance, Cloud, Enterprise Resource Planning platforms
- Creative thinker with the ability to prioritize work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communicator
- A desire to be part of a highly collaborative, fun, and focused team
