Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for the following:
Implements/evaluates plan of care in order to assist patients toward desired outcomes.
Collects data on assigned patients as directed for utilization by the professional nurse.
Assists the registered nurse with other duties as needed.
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide skilled and technical care to a patient population of a specified clerical unit according to the plan of care established by the registered nurse in charge. Qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
Current LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania
CPR certification required

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jeffersonrsquo;s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
