DESCRIPTION
The LPN Staff Nurse at Frankie’s World performs clinical services for pediatric patients in a medical day care setting. This can be a full-time position with health insurance benefits, or part-time, or even as little as one day per week if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain client confidentiality and respect client dignity.
• Conduct daily assessments.
• Participate in patient care plans.
• Dispense medications according to center’s protocol and physician’s orders.
• Chart the health and behavior of each patient.
• Participate actively in engaging the children with the age-appropriate educational program in the classroom.
• Supervise patients to monitor diet and safety issues, and participate in therapeutic recreation activities as needed.
• Provide health education and support for patients and their families.
• Supervise classroom Aides.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within local, state and federal regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Must have at least 1 year of prior nursing experience.
• Must have a non-restricted State of Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.

• Pediatric experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
