Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health is Hiring a Lead CT Technologist Near Philadelphia, PA

Under the supervision of a radiologist, the Lead CT Technologist performs Computerized Tomographic (CT) examinations on patients in accordance with established policies and procedures. Ensures the production of quality imaging and prepares pertinent patient information for physician and care team#39;s review. Delivers patient care and education before, during and after diagnostic imaging procedures. Assists department management with administrative, quality assurance/control and leadership duties as assigned, including training, scheduling, quality assurance and mentoring staff CT Technologists, and may act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of a regular supervisor.

Education:
Graduate of an approved American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program or current
validated Registry from ARRT in Radiology Technology (R). ARRT (R), (CT) Preferred.

Experience:
3 years#39; experience preferred

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
