JOB SUMMARY The Mailroom Clerk coordinates mail pick-up and delivery to all Thomas Health locations.# Accurately and timely sorts and delivers mail to departments.# Applies postage to outgoing mail and ensures it is delivered to Post Office timely.# # The Courier will pick-up and deliver lab specimens, HIM records, Mail, and any other items to all Thomas Health Locations. EDUCATION High School graduate or equivalent required LICENSURE Valid driver license EXPERIENCE Previous hospital experience to gain knowledge of departments preferred.# Knowledge of hospital environment of care/safety procedures is highly desirable. CERTIFICATION N/A COMPUTER/TYPING/MATH SKILLS Basic computer skill required. JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Ensure timely pickup and delivery of mail and other packages for all Thomas Health locations. Ensures compliance with regulations and Thomas Health policies. Must be able to successfully complete established competencies for the position within designated probationary period.
