# JOB SUMMARY Responsible for overall direction, coordination and supervision of all patient services for the Skilled Nursing Unit. This individual will lead, support and provide resources for the delivery of care to provide safe and effective patient care in accordance with the applicable regulatory agencies and system policy.# This position is responsible for budgetary considerations as well as developing and updating departmental policy and procedure manual in accordance with system wide policy and procedure.# Works in collaboration with the Skilled Nursing Unit Manager in the planning, directing, and evaluation of clinical nursing practice delivered on this unit.# # # # EDUCATION A Bachelor#s degree required.# Preferably in nursing, social work but will consider or other areas. Masters or Doctorate preferred.# # LICENSURE Licensed per requirements of the degree in the State of West Virginia.## # EXPERIENCE Minimum of five years long term care experience required.# Management experience preferred.
