Thomas Doll is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near Walnut Creek, CA

Thomas Doll a CPA firm located in Walnut Creek is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable individual who wants to become part of our team. This position is a full-time role that will be 100% onsite in Walnut Creek. The person in this role must have great attention to detail, pride themselves on their accuracy, and must be very organized.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Post payments to client invoices
  • Generate and send out invoices as assigned by the AR Manager
  • Follow up on and collect on overdue client invoices
  • Monitor client account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Maintain accounts receivable client files and records
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries
  • Process adjustments as needed
  • Communicate with clients via phone, email, mail or in person
  • Assist with month-end closing as needed
  • Scanning and attaching documents to correct files

Requirements and Skills:

  • College Accounting courses
  • Minimum 2 years accounts receivable experience
  • Knowledge of office administration and procedures
  • Knowledge of general accounting principals
  • Proficient in Outlook and Sage Intact and/or NetSuite
