Our partner is looking for a Regional Crisis Management Program Manager position currently open in Newark, NJ. The role involves overseeing both Corporate Security Critical Incident Response and Physical Asset Protection Programs. The primary focus is on maintaining and developing plans for Critical Incident Response, supporting Health & Safety, and managing threats and vulnerabilities to facilities. Responsibilities: Lead the Regional Crisis Management Team (RCMT) and deploy Asset Protection Specialists to security incidents. Monitor, track, and evaluate security events, national threats, and local crime rates. Write, train, and exercise Critical Incident Response plans and conduct regular meetings with facility property managers. Conduct/facilitate Physical Security Risk Assessments for all facilities. Liaison with Federal, State, and Local Law Enforcement in response to threats and criminal activity. Assist in auditing and penetration testing of physical security systems. Present at Executive Management meetings regarding security events and emerging threats. Continuous learning and certification in security and crisis management. Requirements Bachelor's degree with 10 years of law enforcement and/or corporate security loss prevention; or 15 years of relevant experience without a degree. Law enforcement or first responder experience. Thorough knowledge of the National Incident Management System (NIMS). Previous experience writing, reviewing, and executing emergency operations and life safety plans. Previous training experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Broad knowledge of security protocols, best practices, and procedures. Excellent presentation, analytical, and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Must possess a valid US driver's license. Desired: Training experience within a utility or regulated industry. Broad understanding of organizations for internal applicants. Certified Protection Professional (CPP).
