DHL Global Forwarding is Hiring an Internship - NYP Trainee Management Program - Ocean Near Newark, NJ

Management Trainee Rotational Program
Our Management Trainee Rotational program is designed to attract college graduates and immerse you in our key functional business units (Warehouse, Operations, and Sales), while assimilating you into our DHL culture. You will gain a broad understanding of DHL Global Forwarding's products and services, and your role as a Certified International Forwarder.
During this program you will gain hands on experience in various rotations to include: Warehouse operations (2 months), Air/Ocean EXPORT Operations (6 months), Air/Ocean IMPORT Operations (6 months) and Sales (1 month). At the completion of this rotational program (15 months), you will be placed into a leadership or professional level role based on availability and suitability. The long term vision for the traditional management trainee is to grow from role to role so that you can accept progressively more responsible assignments across the U.S. landscape.

What will it take to be successful? Below are our minimum key requirements for this program:
4 year University degree graduate
Preference for Supply Chain/Logistics, Operations Management, or Business/International concentrations
GPA 3.0 minimum preferred
Extra-curricular activities demonstrating strong team/leadership experience
1-2 years of working experience in a business related environment and strong leadership experience
Ability to relocate across the U.S. is a requirement to be accepted into this program and to be considered for future professional or leadership roles in the U.S.
Willing to participate in a "hands-on" work environment, self-motivated with a Can-Do attitude, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit
Demonstrates general knowledge of the transportation / freight forwarding industry
A team player with the ability to interact effectively and enthusiastically with a wide range of staff throughout the company
Inquisitive, willing to learn and accept new challenges and responsibilities; motivated toward career growth, learning, and development
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Exceptional computer skills (Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
