A successful Shipping/Receiving Clerk will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as organizational, time management, and mathematical skills. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for:

• Completing wear and spare parts orders for inbound and outbound pickup & delivery according to schedule and customer Purchase orders (domestic & international)
• Receiving and processing products to match supplier purchase orders
• Shipping and receiving machines incl. organizing crating, packing and international paperwork.
• Filing customs paperwork & work closely w/ brokers
• Assisting management with inventory levels and re-ordering in a timely manner
• Organizing inventory into proper locations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply and office area
• Maintaining shipping accounts; coordinating LTL and small package shipments
• Driving a hi-lo truck when needed – certificate not required – can be obtained on-side

Qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
• ERP software experience / basic knowledge
• UPS / FedEx software experience preferred
• The ability to quickly learn company products, packaging methods and terminology.
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
