We are currently seeking a shipping & receiving warehouse employee for our Westland & Novi locations who will assist in store operations, such as (but not limited to):

• Shipping & receiving i.e. receive goods, check for any damages, verify quantities received, distribute goods to various work areas, and contact buyers/internal personnel to resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain neat and orderly files/records for receiving as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks & forklifts.
• Stock shelves.
• Keep a clean and orderly store & warehouse.
• Perform inventory transactions such as order pulling & recounts.
• Prepare orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
• Answering phones.
• Assisting in transportation and logistics.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Advise supervisor(s) of any issues or potential problems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Must have:

• Computer skills.
• Dependable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work in a rapidly changing environment.

Experience preferred in HVAC/R and Shipping & Receiving.

Lift truck experience helpful, but not necessary, as successfully passing a training course will be required.
