We are growing our service team and looking for a Service Technician who will play a crucial role in supporting our customers’ Thermal Spray Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting customers with troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of their thermal spray systems and components, delivering exceptional service to our valued clients.

Job Duties

System Calibration and Certification:

• Execute calibration procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Thermal Spray Systems.
• Certify newly manufactured systems to meet quality and performance standards.

Maintenance and Repair Support:

• Provide technical support for the maintenance and repair of Thermal Spray Equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot returned equipment to ensure issues are promptly resolved.
• Maintain documentation and maintenance records of RMA and service activities.

New System Support

• Assist in the assembly of new thermal spray systems.
• Complete component installation & interconnection for new customer systems.

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with custom industrial equipment.
• Experience with electro-mechanical product assemblies with ability to run test protocols to diagnose product issues.
• Familiarity with PLC’s (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMI’s and robot programming and manipulation (Fanuc) a plus.
• Experience with power supplies a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Takes ownership, does the right thing and is constantly learning and striving to improve.

Education:

• Associates degree in a technical discipline (electrical or mechanical) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
