The World's Largest Social Network is Hiring a Graphic Designer Near San Francisco, CA

HireArt is helping the world’s largest social network hire a Graphic Designer to create visual content for one of the company's internal teams.
All candidates for this role should be proficient in the entire Adobe Creative Suite, have a versatile design background, and be able to tackle a variety of design-related projects, e.g. infographics, content for social media, presentations, digital signage, etc. You must also be able to brainstorm ideas with the company's Internal Communications team, develop artistic concepts for each project, and meet tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker, visual storyteller, and detail-oriented graphic designer who can bring ideas to life in new and inspiring ways.
As a Graphic Designer, you’ll:
  • Concept, design, and deliver quality assets to be used across a variety of platforms.
  • Collaborate with the project team to brainstorm and interpret the project brief.
  • Create mockups for review.
  • Ensure that work is in alignment with the company’s brand standards.
  • Help monitor and maintain brand consistency across departments.
  • Engage with other internal design teams to keep up with trends and policies.
  • Provide graphic design support for other teams as needed.

  • Bachelor’s degree (a focus on graphic design or fine arts is preferred) or equivalent professional experience
  • 7 years experience as a graphic designer or concept artist (demonstrating proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Demonstrated experience with concept, design, and delivery of quality assets to be used across a variety of platforms
  • Demonstrated Experience in Big Tech, managing multiple projects in a faced- and deadline-oriented environment where priorities may shift
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating strong artistic and storytelling ability
  • Willingness to learn new software and tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong understanding of design principles, including composition, color, and hierarchy of messaging (emphasizing the use of typography and photography in layout)
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team as well as work individually
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Media outlet, agency or social media experience is a plus
  • Experience with animation and/or video motion graphics is a plus
Commitment: This is a full-time, 9-month contract position staffed via HireArt and based in San Francisco, CA. It will be fully remote until offices reopen and is available to candidates local to the Bay Area.
