Summary:

As Technical Sales Representative, responsibilities include leading our Technical Sales and Service programs that we provide our customer base, while providing support in growing our overall Wood Products business segment.

Primary Duties:

• Sales:
  1. Call on existing accounts on at least a monthly basis.
  2. Call on at least one new prospective customer per month whether in wood products or another industry that utilize our products (example: lumber, molding, building component manufacturing, reel manufacturing)
  3. Coordinate R&D efforts towards building new product lines based on opportunities for our clients.
  4. Work to bridge our technical service and support with our PRE-TEC robotics team for clients.
  5. You will be required to spend up to 70% of your work time travelling on the road to various customer locations and will require overnight stays.
• Technical Service:
  1. Create and Present monthly Technical Sales Report for each customer account.
     • Utilize Technical Service Templates
     • Document every process center where our products are used.
       • Application Rates
       • Efficiency
       • Equipment condition/issues
       • Inventory
       • Pictures (where allowed)
     • Be available to help take care of customers issues during an emergency.
• Team Building:
  1. You will be part of our North American Technical Sales Team.
     • As such, you may be required to assist other teammates across North America during times of crisis, trial activity, equipment start-ups or special projects.

Non-Essential Duties:

• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• At least some applicable experience.
• At least high school or equivalent education.

• Or equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the requirements of the job.

• Valid Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record. DMV check will be performed.
• Basic Computer skills including excel, word, PowerPoint.
• Good communication skills.
• Self-motivated and effective with time management.
• Mechanical trouble shooting skills / pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge a plus.
