We are under new ownership and hiring inspiring teachers that want to make a different and is excited to learn along with the children.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement an educational curriculum that aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to the teaching team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in individual and group settings.
Maintain open and frequent communication with parents, including informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations, including maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
Supervise and support teacher assistants and volunteers, ensuring they follow planned activities and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
Keep accurate records and documentation to track student progress and maintain compliance.
Continuously engage in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in child care.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency in basic computer skills.
High energy and ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents to create a positive learning environment.
Understanding of child development and ability to apply this knowledge in daily interactions with children.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Valid TB test and physical examination signed by a doctor.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and health screening.
Educational Preferences
CDA (Child Development Associate) Certificate.
Associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
