Description
- Develop and implement an educational curriculum that aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the teaching team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in individual and group settings.
- Maintain open and frequent communication with parents, including informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
- Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations, including maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
- Supervise and support teacher assistants and volunteers, ensuring they follow planned activities and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records and documentation to track student progress and maintain compliance.
- Continuously engage in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in child care.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency in basic computer skills.
- High energy and ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents to create a positive learning environment.
- Understanding of child development and ability to apply this knowledge in daily interactions with children.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid TB test and physical examination signed by a doctor.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and health screening.
- CDA (Child Development Associate) Certificate.
- Associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
