Description

We are under new ownership and hiring inspiring teachers that want to make a different and is excited to learn along with the children.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an educational curriculum that aligns with developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the teaching team, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Plan and facilitate engaging activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in individual and group settings.
  • Maintain open and frequent communication with parents, including informal discussions, progress reports, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations, including maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
  • Supervise and support teacher assistants and volunteers, ensuring they follow planned activities and maintain hygiene and safety standards.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation to track student progress and maintain compliance.
  • Continuously engage in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in child care.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • High energy and ability to work collaboratively with staff, children, and parents to create a positive learning environment.
  • Understanding of child development and ability to apply this knowledge in daily interactions with children.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid TB test and physical examination signed by a doctor.
  • Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and health screening.
Educational Preferences
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) Certificate.
  • Associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.

$15 - $18 per hour
