Job Overview:
We are seeking a Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic and fast-paced restaurant team. As a member of our front of house staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions about the menu
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure tables are clean and properly set before seating new guests
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Process payments using Aloha POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
