The Village Dallas is Hiring a Social Media Strategist Near Dallas, TX

We are thrilled to be expanding our team and are now seeking to add a Social Media Stategist to our “village”. This role will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that align with our brand image and objectives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our social media presence, fostering engagement, and handling responses to both positive and negative reviews.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy to increase brand visibility and engagement across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media activities with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to recommend innovative strategies.
  • Schedule and publish content across social media channels, ensuring consistent and timely updates.
  • Monitor content performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a sense of community through active engagement with residents, customers, and followers.
  • Respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews, both positive and negative, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation.
  • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze social media performance, providing regular reports and insights.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and optimization, adjusting strategies to maximize impact.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and online conversations to stay ahead of potential issues.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans to address and mitigate negative sentiment.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to any social media crisis situations.

SKILLS & REQUIRMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Experience in community management and responding to online reviews.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
