Social Media Marketing Strategist
Qualifications:
● Minimum 3-5 years of corporate/nonprofit social media experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Media, English, Communications, Journalism or Advertising
● Ideal candidate is located in Dallas, Texas, area; remote locations will be considered on a case-by-case basis
● Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance; Health Reimbursement Arrangement; generous time off; and retirement matching.
Position Description:
Experienced marketing professional driven by Christian faith will increase volunteer engagement, partnership possibilities and fundraising by strategically increasing the social media presence of Texans on Mission. This self-starter with a desire to help people in crises will create strategy and content for social media, including the development of partnerships with others on social media.
Position includes up to 25% travel to various places and situations where Texans on Mission volunteers are serving in the state, across the nation and around the world.
Copywriting/Content Marketing
● Originates creative, engaging and optimized content that adheres to AP Style and brand guidelines.
● Understands that excellent content is what connects an audience to our brand and is intuitive in testing and developing content marketing strategies to grow reach.
● Discerns between value-added and extraneous content marketing tactics.
● Photography skills are a plus.
Strategy
● Develops, maintains and updates ongoing content calendar for social media accounts, using data to guide content and strategy.
● Develops and implements marketing partnerships online and off.
Paid Ad Management
● Sets up and monitors paid social ads on multiple platforms.
● Tracks and reports consistently on performance and consults on adjustments needed to achieve goals.
● Remains current on changing functionality, technology adjustments and targeting options.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
