Job Description
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, team player who is able to thrive in a fast-paced office environment.
The candidate will be an integral part of our accounting / finance team, providing support to all aspects of the department.
Core Responsibilities
Receive, review, provide account coding, and load subcontractor invoices, vendor invoices and check requests into accounting software
Process checks generated from accounts payable including mailing and filing electronically
Monitor accounts payable email and redistribute as necessary
Respond to payment inquires from subcontractors, vendors, internal personel, and investigate and resolve issues / discrepancies
Maintain vendor file maintenance including adding / deleting vendors as necessary, W-9’s, certificates of insurance, etc.
Monitor and respond to telephone inquires when requested
Assist AP Manager with various ad hoc assignments as requested
