Academic Administrator
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is recruiting an Academic Administrator to manage and coordinate academic/educational program activities. This position is responsible for assisting with processing academic appointments, coordinating Panther Rounds, planning and scheduling conferences and social events, providing administrative and editorial support, coordinating and maintaining weekly rotation schedules for medical students and residents, scheduling travel, meetings, and calls, coordinating medical student applications for rotations and recruitment of medical students to residency, coordinating resident didactics, and supporting other program activities. Prior experience in managing/coordinating academic programs is preferred.
Manages all aspects of graduate and/or undergraduate academic administrative matters. Monitors degree completion progress and keeps accurate records. Performs administrative, advisory, and editorial duties. Manages the department admission process, assists with attracting prospective students, and processes student financial appointments.

Light physical effort. May be required to stand/move for longer periods of time periodically and may be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
