Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $44,200 - Midpoint: $55,300 (Salaried E6)

Department/Organization: 200011 - Office of Disability Services

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; early mornings and nights as needed

Job Summary: The Testing Services Coordinator is responsible for administering and supporting the services and operations of the Testing department.

Additional Department Summary: Supervises and manages all daily operations of the Office of Disability Services (ODS) Testing Center. Ensures that students receive testing accommodations as regulated by Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (including Amendments). Accurately and swiftly processes, schedules, and edits individualized accommodated test requests in an electronic record system. Preserves academic integrity through all stages of the testing process, including but not limited to securing tests, verifying student credentials, reviewing student class schedules and accommodation eligibility, proctoring tests according to detailed faculty instruction, tracking time of administration, ensuring that accommodations are available and appropriately allocated, and monitoring for incidents of potential academic misconduct. Initial point of contact for troubleshooting and conflict resolution within the testing center. Observes and maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive disability information in accordance with UA policies and departmental best practices.
Supervises and trains Testing Associates and student employees. Maintains training documents, manuals, and tutorials for internal and external use. Provides electronic record technical assistance to students and instructors. Ensures that testing center messaging is consistent with ODS' values and mission. Maintains and troubleshoots software for a robust testing computer lab. Maintains accurate records using a specialized scheduling and electronic record system. Develops and maintains professional relationships with students and instructors. May perform other duties as assigned.

Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree and some experience in managing a high volume test administration center, to include some supervisory experience; OR high school diploma or the equivalent and four (4) years experience in managing a high volume test administration center, to include some supervisory experience. May need to cover different shifts, including nights, as required.

Skills and Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of computer software. Ability to install and troubleshoot when necessary. Skilled in commonly used Microsoft Office software, including Word, Explorer, Excel, and Access. Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with faculty, staff and students. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with electronic databases.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in test administration. Knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (including Amendments). Knowledge of accessible technologies, including screen readers and voice-to-text software. Knowledge of federal disability law as it applies to testing and knowledge of assistive technology.
