Title: Construction Project Lead

Duration: 12 months contract

Location: Marlborough MA

Schedule: In office Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Job Description:

Aids in project schedules and assigning General Contractors and/or Sign Vendors. Distributes all required project documents to external and internal contacts. Negotiates pricing, reviews and approves proposals and invoices, tracks progress and ensures close-outs for all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives assigned. Supplies Field Organization and Management updates detailing the status of all miscellaneous construction and signage initiatives on a regular basis.

Key Strengths:

• Strong organization and project planning skills are necessary.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) are a must.
• Adept in Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Word. Lucernex and Service Channel experience a plus.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects at any one time.
• Highly self-motivated, works well in a team environment.

Good to Have:

• 3 years in Construction, Facilities, Store Planning, Fixturing, Architectural Design, or related construction trades is preferred.
• Understanding and ability to read blueprints, specifically Floor Plans, Elevations, and Site Plans.
• Strong knowledge of store layouts, HVAC, electrical and plumbing criteria would be desired.
• Experience working on complex projects is good to have.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• General fixturing, and retail store planning knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to decipher landlord and city codes as it relates to exterior signs

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Marlborough, MA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
