Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, technical accounting, and budgeting. This is a full-time position.

Duties:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliations
- Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholding and reporting
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks
- Utilize accounting software such as Sage, Quicken, or similar programs
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and standards
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Prepare documentation for audits

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage or Quicken
- Experience with governmental accounting is a plus
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports
- Knowledge of debits and credits and their application in accounting transactions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in public accounting is preferred
