Job Description

As a Software Development Manager supporting program performing both development and O&M of data and application layers, a typical day will include:

• Working in an agile environment and leading teams in the Lean and/or SAFe Agile Methodology.
• Managing deliverables and schedules aligned to Customer approved Objectives.
• Raising any issues or impediments to development progress and escalating them to the Customer management, along with recommendations for resolution.
• Providing metrics on the current systems and the status of ongoing development efforts.
• Conducting outreach and coordinating with stakeholders, and acting as liaison between stakeholders, Government and Contractor Management, and the team.
• Evaluating, proposing, and implementing innovative and/or new business/development processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of support Administration.

This role resembles a technical product owner and delivery manager.

Required Skills

WHAT YOU’LL NEED (REQUIRED SKILLS):

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 8 years of relevant experience
• Excellent oral and written communications skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers' complex questions in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent skills in planning and organizing to systematically coordinate, track and complete workflow in accordance with the unique guidelines and procedures to multiple agencies/organizational entities.
• TS/SCI with Polygraph
